UNITED AGAINST DRUGS: THE UNIRISE WORLD SCHOOL OBSERVES A DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE The Unirise World School recently observed a Drug De-Addiction Day with dignitaries and eminent personalities. A delegation under the guidance of Mr. Karandeep Singh, SDM Jagraon, & Chief Guest of the event was Mr. Varinder Kumar Bhatia, Tehsildar, Jagraon and event was presided over by Mr. Naresh Verma, Principal (retired) from R.K. High School, Jagraon, Ms. Meenu, a psychologist at De-addiction Centre, Civil Hospital Jagraon, Mr. Pankaj Aggarwal, President Chemists Association, Jagraon and Mr. Jatinder Sahota, Librarian from the School of Eminence. The event aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of substance abuse, to promote de-addiction efforts emphasising the need for collective efforts to combat substance abuse.
